CAROLINA REAPER SPICY BBQ BEEF BURGER

We dare you. We don’t do subtle and this one certainly brings full-on heat. BBQ burger, stacked with veg, topped with the earthy zing of Bull’s-Eye Carolina Reaper with Black Garlic hot sauce.

1 X 100G BEEF BURGER (100G)

1 BRIOCHE BUN 

10G SLICED CUCUMBER

10G SLICED TOMATO

10G SLICED PICKLES

10G SLICED RED ONION

50G BACON

20ML BULLS-EYE CAROLINA REAPER WITH BLACK GARLIC HOT SAUCE

10G MAYONNAISE

SALT & PEPPER

PORTION OF THICK CUT CHIPS

METHOD
1.
Light up the BBQ - layer the charcoal loosely so the fire can breathe. We want the full smoky BBQ taste.
2.
Once the fire is out and embers are glowing, close the lid and half-open ventilation hatch so air is limited but not removed - we want around 200°C.
3.
Cook the burger on the grill - 2 minutes on each side should do.
4.
In the meantime, heat the bacon in the baking pan until crisp.
5.
Cut the bun in half and lightly grill on the same pan in the bacon fat. You know the drill.
6.
Glaze the burger with Bull's-Eye Carolina Reaper with Black Garlic hot sauce - season with pepper and salt also.
7.
Place the burger on the bun then stack with cucumber, tomato, onion, pickles and bacon.
8.
Top off with mayonnaise and a generous glug of Bull's-Eye Carolina Reaper with Black Garlic hot sauce.
9.
Serve with chips to complement the fire.
